The big announcement came today that Google has changed their name ... to Topeka.

I'm all for change, but this switch has left many hurting and wondering why?

Here in Minnesota, the people in cities such as Wanimingo, Embarass, Flaming and Fertile are left to wonder why not them?  Why didn't Google change their name to their town/city?  Public hearings, protests and general tears are sure to follow.

It's a tough topic here locally as well as elsewhere.  Frog Suck, Wyoming is devastated I'm sure.

Google announced new features for Google Analytics today that add to their web stats service.  The two additions I liked most are further goal tracking options and mobile website tracking.

• Engagement Goals: Track goals that are set for the amount of time on your website as well as pages per visit. Best of all they have expanded the number of goals you can track to 20.

• Mobile Website Tracking: Google Analytics now tracks mobile websites and mobile apps (iPhone & Android) so you can better measure your mobile marketing efforts and mobile content. Need a mobile website designed? We can help.
